ABIOS Training and Consultancy Programmes

ABIOS is able to provide training to service providers, carers, families and people with an acquired brain injury. Training programmes can be customised to suit the needs of organisations and individuals.

Cognitive and behavioural problems following a brain injury
Management of challenging behaviour
General guidelines for supporting a person with brain injury
Effective lifestyle support for people with an acquired brain injury
Community linking

Depending on a range of issues, there are a variety of methods in which the training can take place. These include:

ABIOS customise their training to suit the needs of the organisation, service or individuals.

Consultancy is also provided for those individuals who are in rural and remote areas of Queensland who may have difficulty accessing other services. These consultations may be about specific individual needs.
