The Queensland Health Annual Report 2010–11 is a key reporting document for the department that provides an overview of the department's financial and non-financial performance and key achievements for 2010–11. It includes information about the department, how it is governed, its activities and its future direction; as well as information on how the department is responding to its strategic priorities presented in the Queensland Health Strategic Plan 2007–2012 (PDF 333kb). The annual report also reports on outcomes linked to Queensland Government priorities and describes how the department has invested public funds to create a healthier Queensland.

The Annual Report Compliance Checklist 2010–11 is provided for use by the department's accountable officers, and outlines the governance, performance, reporting compliance and procedural requirements of the Financial Accountability Act 2009 and the Financial and Performance Management Standard 2009. This checklist provides guidance to ensure the department's annual report complies with all requirements under the legislation and other reporting requirements, and enables informed decision-making.
