District Health Councils
District health councils represent the views and needs of their communities, and provide a link between community and Queensland Health. To contact your local member, call your local hospital and ask for the telephone number of the District Manager's office, and they will be able to provide contact details to you.
Home and Community Care funding
Queensland Health supports older, frail and younger people with disabilities, and their carers, through the Home and Community Care (HACC) program, a joint Australian government and State/Territory government initiative. Growth funding is allocated through an annual funding round. See the HACC program site for more information.
