Queensland Health employs Physiotherapists in a variety of settings across the continuum of care from acute hospitals to clinic settings in the community.
Queensland Health Physiotherapists are involved in treatment, education and prevention programs and work in multi-disciplinary teams together with their patients to establish and achieve defined goals.
Individuals wishing to practise as a Physiotherapist in Queensland are required to be registered with the Physiotherapists Board of Queensland.
Applicants who hold a current practising certificate in another Australian State or Territory or New Zealand can apply for registration under the Mutual Recognition Act 1992 or the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Qld) Act 1999.
