Feeling Good Campaign

The highest rates of smoking in Queensland are found among young people aged 20 to 29 years and these rates are also higher than the national average. Smoking rates in younger Queensland women (aged 14 to 19 years) also remain the second highest in the nation.

Queensland Health's Feeling Good campaign encourages young people who smoke to consider quitting. The website provides a range of information about smoking and quitting, as well as allowing young people to share stories and access other resources.

The Quitline (13 QUIT) 13 7848 is also available 24 hours, 7 days for information, assistance and support with quitting.
