Prevention, Promotion and Campaigns - Alcohol and Illicit Drugs

Within the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Unit, this team is responsible for

prevention policy development
statewide prevention and health promotion campaigns, programs and pilot projects development and management
supporting development of zonal and district Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Services prevention and health promotion capacity
supporting policy and capacity development by Queensland Health Units, other departments and peak bodies
providing expert input to state and national frameworks, guidelines and campaigns
monitoring delivery and performance of prevention policy and programs across the state.
