Services Development Team

Within the alcohol, tobacco and other drugs area this Team is responsible for:

Unit Functions

• Tobacco control policy and program development
• Policy and program development for the diversion of illicit drug users from the criminal justice system into treatment
• Internal planning functions for ATODS, including Business Plans and Outcome Area Plans
• Whole-of-government planning and policy development, including State Action plans for tobacco, illicit drugs and alcohol
• ATODS funding issues, including non-government organisations
• Collation and analysis of ATODS data, including Census of Queensland Health ATODS Activity
• Policy and program development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues
• Research issues, including drug driving
