Quitline – 13 QUIT (13 7848)
The Quitline is an invaluable telephone service for anyone trying to quit smoking, or wanting information about smoking and tobacco. Trained counsellors are available to provide you with information, counselling, support and resources. This service is anonymous and confidential, and is only the cost of a local call (does not apply to mobile phones).
The Quitline is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Feeling Good campaign for young women
Currenlty in its second phase the Feeling Good campaign aims to support young women to quit smoking and prevent relapse.
A website specifically designed for young women and includes information about the campaign, creative materials, information, strategies and tips to quit. Quitline service information and referral, stories submitted by young women and much more.
Quit Smoking Contacts
As part of a comprehensive approach to tackling the problems of smoking, Queensland Health conducts regular social marketing compaigns to encourage and support smokers to quit. These campaigns, often in collaboration with the Queensland Cancer Fund, also educate Queenslanders about the dangers of smoking and the risks of exposure to passive smoking.
