The RaveSafe Queensland Project
The RaveSafe Queensland Project is based on a peer helper approach to addressing health and safety issues with dance party patrons in both club and live music outdoor festival settings.
Project Aims
The Rave Safe strategy implemented by Queensland Health in partnership with Community Solutions aims to;
- increase the capacity of the dance party patrons to be aware of health and safety issues associated with participating in dance parties
- increase the capacity of dance patrons to look after their friends and to care for themselves
- increase collaboration between venue owners and operators and peer educators/helpers to promote health and safety issues for dance parties.
