Location
Bundaberg is situated in Queensland, 50 minutes flying time north of the capital city of Brisbane, or four hours drive.
Climate
Bundaberg enjoys a sub-tropical climate with warm summers cooled by sea breezes and mild winters with daily maximum temperatures averaging around 24C.
Natural Attractions
Bundaberg is the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. We have over 140 kilometres of unspoilt coastline stretching from Woodgate Beach in the south up to Agnes Water and the Town of 1770. Magnificent stinger free beaches are to be enjoyed all year round. Whales visit in spring and turtles hatch in summer.
National Parks offer uncrowded camping and hiking experiences, within a stone’s throw of Bundaberg. Heading west we have spectacular mountains with rugged peaks and historic towns.

Bundaberg offers diverse shopping, restaurant and entertainment options. We have live theatres, cinema complexes, a museum and library.
