Red Cross volunteers play a vital role in our hospital by staffing the information and directorate counter on a daily basis.
They greet patients and visitors to the hospital and provide assistance by directing them to the relevant ward or hospital service.
To meet the spiritual needs of patients and family members, a dedicated group of pastoral care volunteers are on roster. They visit patients on their ward rounds to pray with them or to provide comfort and conversation.
The Wide Bay Health Service District is supported by a number of corporate partners. Their support is greatly appreciated and makes a valuable contribution to our health care services.
