As we plan the new Queensland Children's Hospital widespread consultation will take place in the community.  Early planning involved clinical staff which is now being followed by a range of community consultation activities to identify and address family views, issues and concerns directly. 

Consultation is being undertaken in the surrounding local community, with special health interest groups who support children through their illness, parents, children of all ages and the wider general community.

As the Queensland Children's Hospital will serve children and families who come from regional Queensland, our consultation approaches will guarantee we talk to and get valuable input from those areas.
