| July 2011 | The first sod is turned on the Leukaemia Foundation Queensland's new accommodation at Boggo Road Urban Village. Once the LFQ has moved to Boggo Road in early 2012, its current premises at South Brisbane will be demolished to clear the way for construction of the QCH Academic and Research Facility |

| June 2008 | Commencement of Schematic Design phase of planning. This involves some 40 core and sub groups in detailed planning of proposed clinical and other spaces. Feedback process from the groups and several planned conventions will progressively refine the design to meet the needs of how services will be delivered in the QCH |
