Status of construction work

Raymond Terrace Roadworks

Preliminary construction for the Queensland Children's Hospital began in January 2009, with roadworks and construction of a services tunnel adjacent to the site in Raymond Terrace, South Brisbane.

Raymond Terrace continues to be mostly one-way in a south-easterly direction from Graham Street to Stanley Street. Access to Raymond Terrace from Stanley Street is for emergency hospital access only.

Access to and from Raymond Terrace carpark is currently via Graham Street. Raymond Terrace roadworks will be complete by October 2009.

Site Clearance Stanley Street
Part of the future site along Stanley Street will be cleared during April, May and June 2009, with the removal of buildings and erection of fences. Check the latest community notice for more information about building removals.
