Queensland Children's Hospital under way

Planning and construction of a brand new hospital for the children of Queensland is under way in South Brisbane.

The $1.2 billion Queensland Children's Hospital is on track to open in 2014.

QCH will bring together specialist paediatric staff from the Royal Children's Hospital, the Mater Children's Hospital as well as the Queensland Paediatric Cardiac Service (QPCS) which transferred from The Prince Charles Hospital to Mater Children's Hospital on Tuesday 20 May 2008.
