Queensland Health has a list of Keeping Children Safe - injury prevention strategies. Which also includes child injury prevention information for babies up to a year old in:

The Australian Government health portal, HealthInsite has a section for child safety topics. HealthInsite also has a general injury prevention section.

1, 2, 3 Safe Home Flipcharts
In 2009 Tropical Population Health Regional Services, Townsville Multicultural Support Group and Townsville Safe Community Home and Child Safety Working Group produced a home safety flipchart outlining key child injury hazards around the home. The flip charts help identify home based hazards and provide strategies to minimise the risks associated with these hazards.

Kidsafe Queensland
is a community-based child safety information, personal and printed advice and support service which also has a demonstration house in Herston, Brisbane offering a range of safety devices for sale.

Kidsafe Victoria
have a range of Fact Sheets in English, Serbian, Arabic, Somali, Chinese, Turkish, Croatian, Vietnamese and Macedonian. These Fact Sheets are in four parts – babies from birth to 9 months, toddlers from 9 to 18 months, infants from 18 months to 3.5 years and young children from 3.5 to 5 years old.

The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne Safety Centre
also has a range of downloadable brochures on a number of child injury prevention topics.

Injury data from a cross section of Queensland Emergency Departments is collected by the Queensland Injury Surveillance Unit who produce regular and detailed Bulletins.

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander child injury prevention is important because this community has higher rates for all types of childhood injury than the national averages. A useful booklet - Safety for Piccaninny - Our Little Ones has been produced by the Department of Emergency Services, they have also published a child injury prevention booklet called Keeping Children Safe.

The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian is legislated to maintain a register of all child deaths in Queensland and reports on these annually to Parliament.
