If your self assessment has identified that you are not required to develop and maintain an Infection Control Management Plan, you are not required to continue developing an Infection Control Management Plan. Should your practice or facility commence the provision of a declared health service in the future, you will be required to return to this site and repeat Step 1 to determine your new obligations pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Public Health Act 2005. Your exemption from obligations pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Public Health Act 2005 does not exclude you from your statutory obligations pursuant to the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 and the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

If your self assessment has identified that your practice or facility has an obligation to develop and maintain an Infection Control Management Plan, please review Chapter 4 of The Public Health Act 2005. Once you have reviewed this chapter, you may proceed to Step 2 - Identifying core elements.
