Dr David Paterson

David L Paterson is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research (UQCCR). He is also an Infectious Diseases Physician, Consultant Microbiologist and Medical Advisor for the Centre for Healthcare Related Infection Prevention and Surveillance (CHRISP).

Professor Paterson is the author of more than 175 peer-reviewed publications, of which nearly half have been published in the last three years. He has authored more than 20 book chapters and is a member of the editorial board of two leading infectious diseases journals. He is regularly invited to speak at leading national and international conferences and has lectured in 26 different countries.
