COAG Mental Health Team

To help the QCMHG achieve these objectives, funding was provided by Queensland Health to establish the QLD COAG Mental Health Team in July 2006.

The team provides secretariat support to the QCMHG and support in implementing COAG initiatives. Funding is provided until June 2008.

The team is responsible for:

forward planning QCMHG meetings, in consultation with the chair
preparing the agenda, minutes, communiques and papers for QCMHG meetings
liasing with the various sub-groups and making the necessary links with other agencies who have related programs in the area of mental health
preparing submissions as required
preparing reports, briefs and correspondence as required
