The Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education has developed an online Specialist Palliative Care Education Module for Registered Nurses with an interest in palliative care.
The module is an amended version of the Specialist Palliative Care Course for Registered Nurses developed by Karuna Hospice Services, Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, and CPCRE. Completion of the module will attract credit from QUT's School of Nursing & Midwifery.
In this initial stage the module is open only to Queensland nurses
The first group of students started the module on 31st August 2009. CPCRE hopes to offer the module again in early 2010.
