Clinical Monitoring is undertaken to monitor, measure and demonstrate the clinical performance of the Queensland health system, with a major focus on Variable Life Adjusted Display (VLAD) development and dissemination, to ensure clinical standards and reduce variation.
This is accomplished through the statistical analysis of QH data sets, monitoring and maintenance of CPIC data sets, provision of expert advice on data collections and analysis, development and implementation of dissemination strategies for the information gathered, and provision of assistance in the interpretation of those results.
