The Clinical Practice Improvement Centre, clinicians (doctors, nurses and allied health professionals) and health service managers work together to help improve patient care. We start by looking at the care patients are receiving, find out if it’s the best way things could be done, and then find ways to improve the quality and consistency throughout Queensland Health.
The Queensland Government Action Plan: Building a better health service for Queensland commits CPIC to setting up clinician managed networks, and patient/consumers play a role in the planning and development of health services.
