The CMET provides practising rural doctors and those in training or preparing for examination, including medical students and International Medical Graduates, with a teleconference lecture series of rurally relevant topics delivered by specialists, GPs and other health professionals.
The Program emphasises the management of common patient presentations in rural general practice and exploration of the treatments available in rural environments.
The CMET is an accredited continuing professional education program with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
A Fact Sheet is available to provide additional information about the program, with the dates of specific workshops appearing on the Calendar of Events.
