Aged Care Redevelopment Prototype

Queensland Health has constructed a Prototype for the Modular Design to demonstrate the finished product.

The Prototype is a "mock-up" of part of a residential wing of the building. It includes a resident bedroom, an adjoining ensuite, and part of the internal corridor. The sample rooms are fitted out with the actual finishes, fixtures and fittings, and include floor materials, colours, built-in furniture, lights, door handles, toilet, shower and handrails.

It is constructed on a Queensland Health campus in the Redland Hospital & Health Service District.
