Negotiations for the agreements expiring in August commence in April 2008, whilst negotiations for the new nursing agreement commence in October 2008. It is anticipated that negotiations for a new VMO agreement will also commence in the latter part of 2008.

In addition to the above, the recently certified Health Practitioners (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 1) 2007 covers a range of professional and technical employees involved in the delivery of clinical services. This agreement nominally expires on 30 August 2010.
