Conditions of employment for all salaried medical officers working for Queensland Health are contained in the Medical Officers' (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 1) 2005.
This site is designed to keep Queensland Health medical officers up-to-date with progress being made in negotiating a replacement agreement during the course of 2008.
The Medical Officers' (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 1) 2005 has a nominal expiry date of 31 August 2008.
Over the coming months, Queensland Health and Salaried Doctors Queensland (SDQ) and the Queensland Public Sector Union (QPSU) will be considering and negotiating on a range of issues for inclusion in the new agreement.
As negotiations continue, this web page will be further developed to provide up-to-date information on the progress of the negotiations.
