NIBBIG comprises representatives of Queensland Health and representatives of the Queensland Nurses’ Union (QNU) as parties to the Nurses (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (EB6) 2006 (the Agreement).

The aim of NIBBIG is to be the peak body for the advancement of the interests and issues of the Queensland Health nursing and midwifery workforce.

NIBBIG is the principal forum for constulation between the parties to the Agreement on all matters relevant to its interpretation, application and implementation.
