Bundaberg, Queensland

Bundaberg Hospital (Sunshine Coast-Wide Bay Health Service District) The Bundaberg Hospital is a 144 bed acute health care facility.  If offers emergency medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, medicine, cardiology, nephrology, paediatrics, rehabilitation and an 11 bed intensive care/high dependency unit. Mental Health and a variety of community health services are provided for the District from the Bundaberg Hospital.  Other heatlh services include dental, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, radiology and pharmacy.  Rural services for Allied Health, Community Health and Mental Health are provided from a campus located at Gayndah. The Queensland Government has planned a $47.95 million redevelopment for Bundaberg Hospital to include: emergency department maternity unit special care nursery medical ward mental health services allied health services rehabilitation services
