Mental health solution

The Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA) is a single statewide database, allowing clinicians access to relevant mental health information from one system.

CIMHA replaced, integrated and enhanced three existing mental health information systems used by mental health services across Queensland.

CIMHA is providing better coordinated care for patients due to more accessible statewide records. It has meant safer, more efficient, better quality health care as consumers move between mental health services.

What does CIMHA mean for consumers?

  • Mental health services can access records regardless of where the consumer has received care in Queensland.
  • A more coordinated level of health care.
  • Better access to timely and accurate clinical mental health information.

What does CIMHA mean for clinicians?

  • Streamlining of processes and improved patient information.
  • Improved reporting capability.

“I have found CIMHA a fantastic tool to facilitate the care of mental health consumers... It allows me to quickly access relevant and accurate clinical information.”
Michaela Ward, Psychologist, Child and Youth Mental Health Service
