Next steps

In addition to the eHealth solutions already in use and supporting Queenslanders across the state, Queensland Health’s eHealth Program has another project under development.

Integrated electronic Medical Record

Integrated electronic Medical RecordQueensland Health is set to change the way patient information is collected and shared across Queensland Health’s hospitals.

An integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution will enable Queensland Health clinicians and supporting staff to securely access a single view of a patient’s medical record.

An ieMR is a long-term solution that is part of stage two of the Queensland Government approved $243 million for the implementation of the eHealth strategy over four years.

An ieMR will assist Queensland Health to meet growing demand for high quality health care for years to come.
