Queensland residents have by far the least access to fluoridated water out of any other Australians. Everyone who lives in the ACT has fluoride in their tap water, along with 91% of Tasmanian residents, 90% in New South Wales, 86% in Western Australia, 77% in Victoria and 70% in the Northern Territory. New South Wales and Victoria are also in the process of building more fluoride plants to achieve close to 100% access to water fluoridation. Less than 5% of Queenslanders have access to fluoridated water.
