On rare occasions, there may be unusual or suspicious circumstances surrounding a death. In this event, it is important to cordon off the area and prevent people from entering the area. Sometimes a coronial inquest may be instigated and it is important the area where the death occurred has not been contaminated to allow evidence to be gathered.
