Certificate III in Home and Community Care - CHC30202

Target group for package - HACC Service Coordinators

Role of Coordinators

to act as mentors for participants.
to deliver the in-service training or to coordinate delivery to participants.
to provide workplace assessment or to coordinate workplace assessment.

The package

The package was written by the former HACC Resource Unit Instructional Designer in consultation with experienced HACC Service providers.


It is designed to meet organisational outcomes in HACC service delivery.
It is designed to provide a consistent benchmark for in- service delivery across the state.
It is designed for cost effective delivery as an in- service package.

The resources

The package and content resources are supplied free of charge to HACC service providers to train their workers within a HACC Best Practice Framework.

Assessment

Internal Assessment is conducted by a workplace assessor appointed by the service - the service will maintain a record of the assessor's qualifications and currency.

External Assessment and the issue of a qualification is conducted by arrangement with TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation on audit of the completed assessment materials.

All of these competencies are necessary for the accreditation of the Certificate III in Home and Community Care. The elective modules have been chosen to fulfill the course requirements.
