HACC AWARENESS WEEK – 24 to 30 AUGUST 2008

Events of all types and sizes will be held in local communities around Queensland during HACC Awareness Week 2008.

HACC Awareness Week is held in the last week of August every year in communities throughout Queensland to increase awareness of, and access to, HACC services.

We encourage service providers to take part in our special week, as it is a great opportunity to promote your agency’s services and spread the word about HACC.  Some service providers like to pool resources with other HACC agencies in their area and co-host an event.  Others collaborate with their local media, medical centres, pharmacies and other retailers and local businesses to publicise HACC.

The HACC Resource Unit can support your event with HACC information materials. Please note, due to high demand, our distinctive red shopping bags and red plastic water bottles are no longer available.

Generic and Indigenous brochures and posters, multicultural posters, and multicultural fact sheets on CD, are available from the HACC Resource Unit (see Information & Promotional Resources Catalogue and Order Form on this website).

Generic, Indigenous and multicultural mobile display units can be borrowed from your Area HACC Manager or the Resource Unit, but demand will be tight so get in quickly to secure your booking!  Please check the Information & Promotional Resources Catalogue for booking details.
