The role of the Indigenous Services Development and Access Officer based in the HACC Resource Unit, Chermside Community Health Centre is to advise, assist and support Indigenous HACC funded projects, so that they can provide a culturally appropriate and timely service to frail older people and younger people with a disability.
The area covered by this role is from Rockhampton in the North of the state to Nerang on the Gold Coast ( southern zone). There are 18 indigenous projects in this area and it makes up the Southern Zone.
