Information for Members of the Public

There are a wide range of services to support independent living in the community. The Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre has explained the different community care services (packages and programs) available.

The Home and Community Care (HACC) program aims to provide you with a basic range of maintenance and support services to help you stay at home. The services are provided by service providers throughout Australia. Check the service directories for your closest service provider.
