The Home and Community Care (HACC) Program provides services such as domestic assistance, personal care as well as professional allied health care and nursing services. These services provide support to Australians, younger people with a disability and their carers to be more independent at home and in the community and to reduce the potential or inappropriate need for admission to residential care.
HACC Minimum Data Set
The HACC Minimum Data Set (MDS) is a collection of data about HACC clients (such as their age and living arrangements) and the amount and types of assistance being provided to them through the HACC Program.
Service Providers who receive HACC funding for services delivered to the frail aged, younger people with disability or their carers are required to collect, report data and submitted electronically to the HACC MDS National Data Repository (NDR) four times a year.

The NEF user manual (PDF, 2.1 MB) has information to on how to install NEF more than once on the same computer. This is usually done for agencies reporting with more than one service provider identification number at a time.
