Health Consumers Queensland (HCQ) has established a Consumer Network which is a register of health consumers and community organisations who are interested in providing input into health policies and intiatives from a consumer perspective. As part of the network, consumers receive information and can provide information and feedback to inform health policy, planning and service provision nationally and within Queensland.
HCQ's Consumer Representatives Program receives requests from agencies to nominate consumer representatives to health related committees, forums, reference and focus groups, advisory bodies and panels. Consumers provide input from a consumer perspective into national and state health policies, systems, service reform and iniatitives.
To be eligible to participate in the HCQ Consumer Representatives Program, consumers must be registered on the Consumer Network.
