Victorian Government Health Information - Head Lice
The Victorian Department of Health Services has produced this very useful and reliable head lice management site. It contains an extensive number of resources for child care centers, schools, health care practitioners and hair dressers. The site also contains a brochure treating and controlling head lice that has been translated into 20 different languages.
PLEASE NOTE that health regulations are state based. Queensland regulation on exclusion from school and head lice treatment by hairdressers is different from Victorian Regulation.
