The presentation is designed to be used to educate members of the school community about head lice. The presentation contains information on the general facts about head lice, detection and treatment of head lice, and where to get more information.
This presentation may be useful for the head lice support volunteer, the principal, the school nurse, the child health nurse, teachers, the community participation/liaison officers or other interested personnel. For example, the presentation could be used at Parents and Citizen's Association meetings, with small groups of parents or at a staff meeting.
The presentation materials include a set of overheads that need to be photocopied onto transparencies or a PowerPoint presentation. Presenters' notes are also included for use when doing a presentation.
