Case studies in booklet 10 reflect the wide variety of ways and levels that the health promoting schools approach is being used in schools. The case studies are not intended to be examples of the best way to adopt a health promoting schools approach, as each school is unique. They are intended to stimulate enthusiasm, motivation and thinking about how to begin, work within, maintain and sustain the approach in a particular school.
The case studies represent the diversity of contexts in which health promoting schools have been initiated, including government and non-government schools, primary and secondary schools and schools in both rural and metropolitan regions.
Each case study is a unique story about how the school became involved with this approach and their subsequent journey. The story has been told by members of the school community. The case studies are structured using the following format.
The case studies can be found in booklet 10.
