At a National level, two key resources provide frameworks for taking a whole school approach to mental health promotion.
KidsMatter is a resource for Primary schools and MindMatters is designed for use in Secondary schools. The KidsMatter and Mindmatters frameworks are consistent with other key documents such as the Professional Standards for teachers, Values Education, National Safe Schools Framework and National School Drug Education.
Transitions, are times of change and an opportunity to develop new skills. Tropical Population Health has developed a number of resources for schools to use in assisting students through transition processes.
