Websites with information specifically for school communities include

Good quality general information on promotion, prevention and early intervention approaches to mental health can be found at the Auseinet website.  This site offers a range of information including noticeboards, resources, Auseinet E-journal and web-links. 

At a community level, the Be Kind To Your Mind site provides information on how individuals and communities can look after their mental health and wellbeing and activities undertaken in North Queensland. 

Similarly, the Act-Belong-Commit program in Western Australia seeks to improve individual resilience and community cohesion. 

VicHealth also has an excellent site with publications on enhancing mental health and wellbeing.

A number of youth focused sites provide information on mental health issues and a number also offer on-line support services.  Some of the best examples of these youth focused sites are:

Stigma around mental ill-health remains a major issue.  An Australian site designed to educate the community and combat stigma is SANE

There are also Australian guidelines around the reporting of mental illness for a range of professional groups. 

Around the world there are a number of stigma reduction campaigns including Like Minds, Like Mine in New Zealand and See me in Scotland.
