Proportion of admitted patients who are same-day patients (Monthly percents)

Description	Monthly proportions of same day patients for Queensland Public Acute Hospitals. Data are available for the top 32 hospitals only.
Definition	A same-day patient is a patient who is admitted and separates on the same date. All episodes of care are counted except boarders, posthumous organ procurement and unqualified newborns.
Source	All financial years: Queensland Hospital Admitted Patient Data Collection
Timeliness	Data are generally available 2 months after the completion of the reference month. If a hospital has not provided their data electronically before that time, then the monthly data for that hospital are imputed by an estimation process
