Overview
Townsville is the largest city in regional Queensland and its 606-bed hospital is evolving to be a major tertiary hospital in North Queensland. It offers services in all major health specialities, including cardio-thoracic, ear, nose and throat surgery, eye surgery, gynaecological, neurosurgery, orthopaedic (bone), plastic, urological, and vascular surgeries as well as obstetrics, oncology, paediatrics, and a psychiatric unit.
