        course of employment with QH.

        non QH employees.

        ownership of IP or appropriate rights to use IP when the IP is created by external
        organisations/consultants paid by QH.

1)     Information for medical researchers - what are the first steps I should take to identify
        and protect IP in my research?    About - The first steps that need to be taken
        before a patent application is filed.
2)     Copying Test Forms and other Documents - Can I Do this?   About - Explains the rules
        that allow QH employees to freely copy written materials provided that the use is to
        provide QH's services.

IP Tools
1)     QH Copyright Notice Table About - A list of currently approved QH Copyright notices and
         statements to use on copyright material created by QH employees within the course of
         employment with QH.
2)     QH IP Ownership Assessment Tool About - A tool to assist with the clarification of who
         owns intellectual property (IP) created by QH employees.
3)     QH Invention Disclosure Form - Patents About - A confidential form for QH employees to
         use to disclose potentially patentable inventions to QH. Enables QH to undertake an initial
         evaluation to determine whether a patent application should be filed.
