PALPAS is a high level committee comprising the most senior managers of the purchasing and logistics functions in Queensland Health, as well as some external representatives. It provides a forum within the shared services model for collaborative and co-operative discussion and development of purchasing and logistics policy and reform strategies. The Senior Director, Health Services Purchasing and Logistics fulfils the role of committee Chairperson, through whom PALPAS is responsible to the Executive Director Corporate Services, Queensland Health. PALPAS meets every two months.
