Integrated (HR/IR) Resource Manual (IRM)

The Human Resources Branch has developed a Human Resources (HR) Policy Framework that aims to consolidate and simplify the existing 360+ Integrated (Human Resources/Industrial Relations) Resource Manual policies so employees and managers can more easily access, interpret and apply human resources policies.

Employee entitlements will not be diminished as a result of the HR Policy consolidation project. The purpose of the project is to prepare consolidated HR policies in plain English, with updated references, in line with Queensland Government legislation, Directives and policies.

The HR Policy consolidation project is a work-in-progress. As HR policies are consolidated and finalised, they will be added to the HR Policies Site. The Integrated (Human Resources/Industrial Relations) Resource Manual IRM policies will progressively be superseded by HR Policies. Those IRMs which are preserved in accordance with respective Certified Agreements will remain current. Queensland Health has retained copies of superseded IRMs.
