The Mackay Health Service District provides health care for some 160,000 residents located in communities south to St Lawrence, north to Bowen and west to Middlemount.
We have hospitals in Bowen, Collinsville, Dysart, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina and a primary hospital facility located in Mackay. There are community health services located in many of the region’s major towns including Clermont, Dysart, Glenden, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and the Whitsundays and Sarina.
Our medical, nursing, clinical and non-clinical support staff, along with volunteers are working together to deliver quality care and service to the community.
