First Steps
First Steps in the Management of Urinary Incontinence in Community-Dwelling Older People – a clinical practice guideline for primary clinicians (registered nurses and allied health professionals) Revised Version 2007.  This resource outlines continence assessment and management best practice and provides a guideline that encourages primary level health professionals to work collaboratively to improve the continence outcomes of older people living in the community.  Print the following sections in sequence to gain a full copy of the guideline.

Second Steps (Second Edition added 17 November 2008)
Second Steps in the Management of Urinary Incontinence in Community-Dwelling Older People – a clinical practice guideline for secondary level clinicians (continence advisors and continence physiotherapists) Revised Version 2008.   This second clinical practice guideline developed by the MASS/HACC Continence Project team is an extension of the 'First Steps' guideline.  Print the following sections in sequence to gain a full copy of the guideline.

Mentoring Framework
Queensland Continence Clinicians - Mentoring Framework provides information to HACC continence clinicians on mentoring relationships.  Mentorship can be used as a framework to enable clinical best practice development to promote efficient and effective client and service health care outcomes.
